Spain - Posibilidades de Futuro (PdF) 

 

 

Project Partner: Posibilidades de Futuro (PdF) is a non-profit organisation based in Valladolid, the capital city of the Castilla y Leon region of Spain in central Spain - a region with 9 provinces, covering a wide geographic spread, with the main economic sectors being services and agriculture.

 

PdF (Posibilidades de Futuro) seeks to give value to participation and mobility programmes, and the ongoing work done by the different actors involved in these programmes, and any other related initiative.

 

The main objectives of the association are to motivate, promote and develop projects, activities and initiatives of young people - or those people or organizations that work with young people - as well as to promote and enable learning, mobility, networking, personal and professional development, and increase the employability of young people.

 

Key issues for the association are participation and active citizenship, awareness of cultural diversity, the social inclusion of people with fewer opportunities and promoting the quality and recognition of non-formal education.

 

The main activities can be summarised in organization, support, training, information and / or participation in activities related to the objectives of the association, as well as generating activities, creation of resources and / or materials on key topics for PdF.

 

The team has diverse profiles and experience in areas as different as non-formal education, animation and youth participation, empowerment and leadership, employment counselling and social work. Most PdF members have some form of European experience, which has provided them with contacts and affiliations with experts and organizations in other countries.

 

María Victoria de la Cruz is the representative of PdF in the She Empowers project. In relationship with the subject of this project, Vicky coordinated the last project of the association was a seminar of trainers in March 2014 (organising a meeting with 37 trainers from 22 different countries). Another of the projects where she has been involved and that has been carried on several times during the last years, is the training "Mpowering U2 lead Uth", where she works on the empowerment, self development, and leadership of young people. She is part of the Partner: Posibilidades de Futuro (PdF) is a non-profit organisation based in Valladolid.
