MAPPING

The first step of our 3-year project consists of exploring the services and approaches towards the integration of adult unemployed women into active / economic life outside the home. This mapping exercise is carried out in 5 countries and regions: Belgium, Iceland, Italy, Spain and Sweden.

The aims of the mapping exercise are to:

  • Point out the needs locally as well as transnationally for future activities, initiatives and action for competence development in the work with unemployed women.

  • Identify good practices and establish Action Plans for the Action Research in each country in order to try out new modules leading to a better utilisation of the services on offer.

  • Encourage networking between various institutions to contribute to a greater understanding of each other’s work and further cooperation.

The research was done between November 2014 and June 2015 and for each country you will find 3 elements as a result of the mapping stage of this project:

- The Context

- The Mapping process

- The Good practices identified during the mapping process
