We have developed this website in the last weeks of the project to give easy access to documents but, we hope, also to our thinking processes! Several documents were produced by members of the She Empowers’ network to help us disseminate our thinking as the project proceeded:

 

Info Sheet: Steps to Empowerment – written by Hazel Low, Action Research Coordinator gives an outline of the process of the She Empowers project.

 

Article: Discovery not Yet – written by Ann Daniels, Country Coordinator, Belgium -  looks in more detail at the Empowerment Circle developed as a tool and used as the basis for one of our European Training Modules. 

 

Article: The E-Factors: Reflecting on Employment, Employability and Empowerment- written by Giulia Mastropirro, Country Coordinator, Italy – raises issues to help towards a better understanding of these 3 concepts. This was the topic of our second European Training Module. 

 

Article: Thoughts on Gender Specificity written by Valgerour H. Bjarnadottir, Iceland (participant in a She Empowers Learning Activity)

 

Besides those, An Overview of the Pilot Actions will help readers choose which of the 12 Pilot Actions carried out might give them some ideas for transfer to their own contexts. Details of each of them can be found here in the section Pilot Actions

 

A Competence Framework for Professionals Working with Unemployed Women maps the actors, the actions and the competence requirements of the various professionals in the field of work with unemployed women.

 

Last, but not least, the Training Manual: Empowering Training Modules to Support Female Employability offers some concrete examples of tried and tested training modules that have been carried out within the project, at European- and local-levels.
